Our faith in God is being pressed hard in this season of economic turmoil family issues and the list goes on. As Christians, we can’t put our trust in the news, our government, a psychic hot line, or a flamboyant talk show host or even sometimes our own. We have to put our trust in God, even when our faith is being tested.
No matter how hard times get, the fact remains that someone else is struggling worse than you. The book of Daniel depicts such an event that transcends beyond human imagination. And just like so many of us today, Daniel’s faith was tested under fire.
The devil tried to destroy the three Hebrew boys, in Daniel 3, because of their faith in God. You may be going through the blazing furnace of a painful loss, family discord, a home in foreclosure, a marriage on the rocks. The devil wants to burn up your praise and worship, but your faith under fire will burn off everything that had you bound. God will not put on you more than you can bear a text that we have heard but many haven’t experienced. Friends he will indeed go through the fire with you.
The true principle in this event hinges on the fact that the three Hebrew boys held onto their faith. Despite the problem at hand, they knew the right way to respond under pressure. They didn’t backslide, or give up or get out. They praised God in the midst of the fire and were miraculously delivered.
Christians ought to have pit-bull faith under fire. The Bible says in Psalm 91, “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the arrow [that] flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence [that] walketh in darkness; [nor] for the destruction [that] wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee.”
We can outlast, outrun, and overcome the enemy’s schemes of destruction. All it takes is the power of faith, not in a person, or material things, but in the true and living God. Keep praising and worshiping Him, even in the face of a fiery furnace. This is not just a Pin message it is a Pin testimony. God is able…
There are seven points to learn in Daniel chapter 3
1. God deserves our worship.
2. In life, our faith is going to be challenged.
3. Acquire a “No matter what” confession.
4. When the heat is turned up it’s important that you don’t panic.
5. Even in the fire, remember you are not alone.
6. God uses the drama to get you to the next level.
7. Your faith will pay off eventually. God has already pre-wired you to win.
YOUR PROBLEM DOES NOT HAVE POWER OVER GOD,
BUT GOD HAS POWER OVER YOUR PROBLEM.
Pastor M.G Clarke
Assistant Pastor of
Toronto East Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Greetings in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, it is a privilege to send this second PIN message. This was an unexpected word, but an expected blessing.

Driving separate cars can be a joy sometimes when it comes with your own music and your own desire of air condition. One afternoon my wife and I left our home heading to a Church Christmas eve brunch. Not necessarily decked out in my nice clothes, but definitely a little more jazzed up than my usual attire, I was ready for an hour full of amazing music and a message to keep me centered on the reason we celebrate this season.
Before we even hit the stop sign at Midven and Hunt, there was a delay. Not sure, at first, what it was, I inched up further along on the asphalt to take a better look, and what to my wondering eyes did appear? A stalled SUV with flashers blaring as if to say, “Will somebody please help me?”
Car by car made their detour around the man and woman as they frantically attempted to turn the key over just one more time. Now it was my turn. With my plans for the evening, I had to decide: Do I go around this hindrance in order to make sure that my nicely pressed outfit would remain intact for the church service I was headed to? Or do I toss the plans out the proverbial window in order to be a Samaritan to someone I may never see again?
Rolling down my window, I yelled to the distraught woman, “Do you need some help?” Her affirmative reply was followed by a sigh of partial relief. Shortly after that, I whipped my car around and pointed my hood to work my magic with our old set of jumper cables.
“Give it some gas,” he hollered to me.
Nothing changed’.
Continuing to apply my aldo shoe to the accelerator, I started to pray, “Father, please help this couple. Help their car to start so that they can get home. Help them…”
Vroom, vroom, vroom.
“Thank you so much for your help,” the man said. “And Merry Christmas!”
Quietly watching the entire occurrence, a young boy driving by said, “That was nice.” I agreed with him and told him that I could have just driven around them to make sure that we wouldn’t miss church because we wanted to worship Jesus.
The young boy drove up and uttered these words,
“I think Jesus wanted you to help them more than he wanted you to go to church today”.
I often have a word to share but at that time all I could utter was, “I couldn’t agree more.”
Thank you, Heavenly Father, for allowing us the opportunity to be your hands and feet. And for creating a tender heart in our sons that will know how to love you by loving others.

We never know when God is calling us to be true Church members in and outside of Church.
