About Us

At Toronto East SDA Church

…we recognize that we are all on a spiritual journey.  We have responded to God’s call to come, seek, for Him.  As a worshiping community, we are committed to loving the Lord our God with all our hearts, minds, souls and strength; and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.  It is a pleasure to see God moving in the lives of men and women around this congregation. Please know that God is ever faithful and we must do and be the same in our call as children of the King. Toronto East Seventh day Adventist Church is committed to fulfilling Jesus’ commission to make disciples of all peoples.
We aspire to ever more perfectly reflect the love and character of Christ, our Lord.   That challenges us to be open to each other’s joys and pain; and to love and serve the peoples of the world as Christ loves and serves us everyday.  We cheerfully accept that challenge. With God all things are possible so let’s enjoy the journey.

Our Aim…

…is to effect a culture of Ministry and Mission that seeks
nothing in return, and to realize, at last, the true meaning of Christ’s first requirement for true
discipleship as found in Matthew 25:34 – 40.

A Lighthouse of Hope

In response to Jesus’ call to service, the Toronto East Seventh-Day Adventist Church as His
Lighthouse, will reflect the Biblical message of hope in Christ through a vibrant and visible
ministry, and wholistic education for the community.

A Family That Nurtures

By the grace of God, as part of the worldwide Family of God we will provide nurture to
families — including single parents — in order to assist in meeting their
basic needs.

A Hospital for Healing

In the Spirit and power of Christ, as a “Hospital for Sinners”, we will render emotional and
spiritual support through healing, guidance, reconciliation and sustenance to one another and to
our community.
